Baby I love your way

Peter Frampton

 GBmEmCF7
Shadows grow so long before my eyes, and they're moving, across the page
 GBmEmCF7
Suddenly the day turns into night, far away, from the city
 BmE7AmD7
But don't, hesitate, cause your love, won't wait

 GDAm
Ooh, baby I love your way
 GDAm
Wanna tell you I love your way
 GDAm
Wanna be with you night and day

 GBmEmCF7
Moon appears to shine, and light the sky, with the help, of some firefly
 GBmEm
Wonder how they have, the power to shine, shine, shine
 CF7
I can see them, under the pine
 BmE7AmD7
But don't, hesitate, cause your love, won't wait

Chorus

 GBmEmCF7
I can see the sunset in your eyes, brown and grey, and blue besides
 GBmEmCF7
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun, I wish I could buy one, out of season
 BmE7AmD7
But don't, hesitate, cause your love, won't wait

Chorus

jets60 (report comment to admin):
After the Am in the Chorus I believe you need a C where Frampton echos "...eveyday" and the like...anyway it's how I remember it.
smrtdad (report comment to admin):
Yes, jets60 is correct. In the chorus it is fun to go to the C after the Am and walk down to G. I love this song.
mbkennedy (report comment to admin):
the Bm in the first line of all the verses is really a D/F#. and the like in later lines.
rubin1 (report comment to admin):
If you want to keep it simple you can replace the Bm with a D and it'll still sound really good too
dasko23 (report comment to admin):
the D is actually a Dm. try it and you will see.
