Oasis is getting up there as one of my favorite bands, if not already.
This video is amazing, and what is even more amazing (and better too!) is
that they (meaning the editors, not Oasis) didn't cut any of it out.
Although there are a bunch of different riffs to remember, I find
locating proper ocean noise for the beginning is the toughest part of the
song.
I figured I might as well do the whole thing because I love the song so
much. The only real tab of this is under the Morning Glory album thing,
and it isn't too extensive. Ok here we go.

OK TAKE NOTE OF THIS: they love to do these little fills here and there:

 B -------10---
 G --9-11------ X3

It's the 9-11-10 thing they use in those above lead parts. They toss
some of those fills in at 0:43, 0:57, and 1:09. The only difference is
they don't fade like they did in the beginning.

NOTE: The second verse uses this little thing instead of the 9-11-10 riff
from above. Just listen to the CD, they toss in one of these two riffs
every so often like they did with the 9-11-10:

 D -----7-- AND G -------9-----9--
 A -7-9---- D --9s11---11s9---

[A]How many special people change?

[G]Cos people believe that they're gonna get away from the [A]summer
But you and [G]I, we live and die
The [D#/F]world's still spinning round, we don't know [E]why, why, why....
(Then over the bridge, the chords and counts go like this:)
[A] [A] [G] [G] [D/F#] [D/F#] [F] [G]
[A] [A] [G] [G] [D/F#] [D/F#] [F] [G]

[F] [G] [F] [G] [A] [A] [G] [G]
F#m F#m.......(then you are back into that beginning riff)
(If you think I'm gonna tab the 4 or 5 guitars over that noise/distortion
bridge, you wrong)
[A]How many special people change?
[G]How many lives are living strange?
[F#m]Where were you while we were getting [E]high?
We were getting [A]high?
We were getting [G]high?
We were getting [F#m]high?

Subject: TAB: Champagne Supernova by Oasis
"Champagne Supernova", written by Noel Gallagher, performed by Oasis.
Song can be found on the album "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" and
has been released in the U.S. as a single.
Note: There's a whole lot of stuff going on in this song (including 3
guitars), so I've tried to transcribe everything. The 1st guitar
(Bonehead) is acoustic-sounding during all verses and the 1st chorus and
plays with distortion only during the 2nd & 3rd choruses, the bridges, and
musical interlude. The second guitar (Noel) plays the intro solo and the
fills during all the verses and pre-choruses with a muffled effect, and
plays little solo parts with a dirty-sounding distortion. The 3rd guitar
(Paul Weller, I believe) steps in with a cleaner but heavier distortion to
play the guitar solo during the musical interlude.

b = bend (5b6 means bend the string at the 5th fret to make the note the
string would make at the 6th fret with no bend)
r = release bend

h = hammer on
p = pull off
^ = let note ring while making the note "vibrate"

[NOTE: When trying to learn the guitar solo, I would suggest listening to
the song and learning exactly when the soloing guitar plays which notes
relative to when the rhythym guitar changes chords. Then, follow along
with this transcription to hear the rhythym of the fills and the riffs
during the solo relative to the chord changes.]
