I play this on the ukelele in F and I do use the C7 chord which coresponds to the D7 shown here in G and I believe it's right. Try this tab for the intro on the uke (With the rest of the song transposed into F i.e. -2 semitones) (Verse F Bb F C7.)

The D7th is correct ... I edited the placement of the chords though, on my songbook.
