if you listen to the song, I'm sure the beat is aparent - if not, the beat is 4/4 and strum pattern for me works as down up down up up - down up down up up :)

if you put your ringfinger on the 2nd string and your pinky on the 1st string then play the top of notes with oyur first and secong finger so open G with that would be...ring on 2nd string 3rd fret and pinky 1st string 3rd fret, and 1st finer 5th string 2nd fret and middle finger 6th string 3rd fret...that makes it match the track
