Please Do Not Go  Violent Femmes

Violent Femmes
This is the main part (also known as the verse). Itâ??s all palm muted in this part and these should be played as quarter notes.
[G] [C] [D]

 [---3------3------3------3---I---0------0------2------2---]
 [---3------3------3------3---I---1------1------3------3---]
 [---0------0------0------0---I---0------0------2------2---]
 [---0------0------0------0---I---2------2------0------0---]
 [---2------2------2------2---I---3------3------x------x---]
 [---3------3------3------3---I---x------x------x------x---]

The chorus is the same as the verse, except that you strum the chords instead of palm muting them. So the chorus goes like this:
4 beats of Gmajor
then 2 beats of Cmajor
and then 2 beats of Dmajor
Then you do the verse one more time.
And then thereâ??s this other part where he sings, â??How long can the days go on?...â??
And right there you play this:
Cmajor for 1 measure, then Gmajor for 1 measure,
And then he starts singing â??I want to see him goâ?? on the 3rd Gmajor, and when he starts singing â??by/byeâ?? you play Dmajor.
Thereâ??s a bass solo in there somewhere, and if youâ??re playing this live and get bored, it sounds best to play the verse behind it.
You can figure out the order on your own. I donâ??t feel like typing anymore right now.
