Black girl black girl, where will you go,
I'm going where the cold wind blows.(where's that at baby?)

I will shiver the whole night through.

Black girl, black girl don't you lie to me,

Where the sun don't ever shine,
I will shiver the whole night through.(shiver for me now)

Still a mile and a half from here.(what happened to him?)
His head was found in the driving wheel,
and his body heaven never been found.

im going where the cold wind blows
you call me the east and you call me the moon

but I have to disagree with the chords. I believe they are E and A rather than Em and Am

complements to whom ever posted these lyrics, they are the closest to the original version on the web. most web sites say "my girl, my girl..", which lead belly does say in later versions of the song, but not in the original version he wrote. in the original he said "black girl". only two corrections- lead belly says "and his body *haven't never been found" and the last two lines are "you caused me to weep, you caused me to moan, you caused me to leave my home". again though good job who ever posted this.
