My Shepherd Will Supply My Need Misc. Gospel
My [C]Shep[G7]herd [C]will [G7]supp[Am]ly [G]my [C]need:
Je[G]ho[C]vah [Am]is [G]His [F]Na[C]me;
In pas[G7]tures f[C]resh [G7]He [Am]makes [G]me [C]feed,
Be[G]side [C]the [Am]liv[G]ing [F]str[C]eam.
He [Am]brings [C]my wan[F]dering [Dm]spirit [C]back
When [Am]I forsake [Dm]His [C]ways,
And [G]leads me, [C]for [G]His [Am]mercyÂ’s [C]sake,
In [Em]paths [C]of [Am]truth [G]and [F]grac[C]e.
When I walk through the shades of death
His presence is my stay;
One word of His supporting grace
Drives all my fears away.
His hand, in sight of all my foes,
Doth still my table spread;
My cup with blessings overflows,
His oil anoints my head.
The sure provisions of my God
Attend me all my days;
O may Thy house be my abode,
And all my work be praise.
There would I find a settled rest,
While others go and come;
No more a stranger, nor a guest,
But like a child at home.
