Trust and Obey Misc. Gospel
[C]When we walk with [G7]the [C]Lord in the [G7]light of His [C]Word,
What a [F]glory He [C]sheds on our [G7]way!
While we [C]do His good will He [G7]abides with [C]us still,
And with [F]all who will [C]trust [G7]and [C]obey.
[G7]Trust and [C]obey,
[C7]For there's [A]no other [Dm]way
To be [G7]happy in [C]Jesus,
But to [G7]trust and [C]obey.
Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away,
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can remain when we trust and obey.
Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or well walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
