Its A Heartache  Bonnie Tyler

1. It's a [G]heartache, nothing but a [Bm]heartache,
hits you when it's [C]too late, hits you when you're [Bm-D]down.
    It's a [G]fool's game, nothing but a [Bm]fool's game,
standing in the [C]cold rain, feeling like a [Bm-D]clown.

2. It's a [G]heartache, nothing but a [Bm]heartache,
love him till your [C]arms break, then he let's you [Bm-D]down.

    It ain't [C]right with love to [D]share,
when you [Bm]find he doesn't[Em] care, fo[D]r you.

    It ain't [C]wise to need some[D]one,
    as much as[Bm] I depende[Em]d on,[D] you.

3. same as 1.

4. same as 2.
5. It's a [G]heartache, nothing but a [Bm]heartache,
love him till your [C]arms break, then he lets you [Bm-D]down.
    It's a [G]fool's game,
     [Bm]standing in the cold ra[C]in, feeling like a [Em-D]clown.
    It's a [G]heartache,
[Bm]love him till your arms bre[C]ak, then he lets you [Em-D]down.

I agree with Bm instead. It's how my Aunt taught me this song.

Bm sounds better tyo me for Am

Not sure Em sounds right here.
Played in the Key of C, Em seems the correct chord, not Am.
Set in the Key of G it would seem Bm is more appropriate.
Em is Ok in the bridge and in the Key of C would come out as Am.No problem there.
My thoughts.
