All of these li[G]nes across my face
Tell you the st[D]ory of who I am
So many sto[Em]ries of where I've been
And how I go[Cadd9]t to where I am
But these stor[G]ies don't mean [D/F#]anything
When you've g[Em]ot no one to t[C]ell them to, it's tr[G]ue
I[D] was made for yo[G]u

I climbed acr[G]oss the mountain top
Swam all acr[D]oss the ocean blue
I crossed all the l[Em]ines and I broke all the rules
An' baby I [Cadd9]broke them all for you
Oh, because [G]even when I [D/F#]was flat broke
You [Em]made me feel like a [C]million bucks, you [G]do
I[D] was made for y[G]ou

And [Em]they don't know what I[C]'ve been through, like you do[G]
And [D]I was made for [G]you

All of these li[G]nes across my face

I sincerely believe the studio recording of this song is being played in A with a capo on the second fret (not G, capo 4). Transpose the song up two semi-tones and lower your capo and you'll be right on.
