I've taken the liberty of changing the A7 to A#dim so the chord appears at the bottom of the page. As you can see, there's only a semitone difference (A becomes an A#)but it makes the world of difference. Any beginners can keep playing A7 if they prefer.
Harrison used the diminished chord in a number of his songs and vocal harmonies. Instead of A7, use A#dim. The song and your ears will thank you for it! (look it up under Resources, Chord charts)
I dont think the 'wont take long' needs the A7 or a G7. I play-

the original is minus 3 - F#m B and the course is E C#m
the A7 in this song on "but it takes so long" i think should be a G7
