Trouble  Nevershoutnever

I'm in [G]trouble
I'm an addict

I'm addicted to this girl
She's got my [Em]heart tied in a knot

And my stomach in a whirl
But even [G]worse

I can't stop calling her

She's all I want and more
I mean [Em]damn
What's not to [D]adore?

I've been [G]playing too much guitar

I've been listening to jazz
I [Em]called so many times

I swear she's going mad
And that [G]cellular will be the death of us
I [C]swear, I [D]swear

And [G]oh

O-oh, o-oh, o-ooh
[Em]Oooo

I'm running my mouth
Just like I [C]got her
But I surely [D]don't
Because she's [G]so

O-oh, o-oh, o-ooh
[Em]Rock 'n roll
And out of [C]my league
Is she out [D]of my league?

Let's hope not

I'm in [G]trouble

I'm so clich

See that word just wears me out
Makes me [Em]feel like just another boy

To laugh and joke about
But [G]even worse

I can't stop calling her

I love to hear that voice
And [Em]honestly
I'm left with no [D]choice

I've been [G]playing too much guitar

I've been listening to jazz
I [Em]called so many times

I swear she's going mad
And that [G]cellular will be the death of us
I [G]swear, I [Em]swear

And[G] oh

O-oh, o-oh, o-ooh
[Em]Oooo

I'm running my mouth
Just like I [C]got her
But I surely [D]don't
Because she's [G]so

O-oh, o-oh, o-ooh
[Em]Rock 'n roll
And out of [C]my league
Is she out [D]of my league?

Let's hope not

An[G]d oh

O-oh, o-oh, o-ooh

Oooo
oooo ooo oo o

The strumming pattern is very simple. If you listen to any studio version of this song, you'll notice that he (Christofer Drew) plays each note once and mutes it quickly after. So starting on the word "Trouble" you play down then mute. The strumming goes at a slow pace, and I can't really explain it so I highly recommend listening to the version of the song you want your playing to sound like. At the part where he starts singing the "Oh oh-oh oh-oh oh-ohhhh Oooooh I'm running my mouth just like I got her" (if you can understand what I'm talking about) It's pretty much a matter of giving it a swing-y beat and playing whatever strumming pattern feels right. Personally, I play a pattern that goes along the lines of DD UU D UU D U UDU with a very syncopated rhythm. This is a basic "skeleton" of the pattern, you can play any pattern you want as long as it fits.
After he sings "Let's hope not" You're going to play the chord, mute it, then knock on the wood of your guitar three times. On the third set of this, knock twice.
You're going to keep repeating all of the rhythms above in their respective places.
On the last part of the song ( the "Oh oh-oh oh-oh oh-ohhhh Oooooh. Oooh ooooh oooh ooh") you're only going to strum the chord once.
Honestly, it's kind of a listen-and-learn pattern. If you haven't already listened to the song, DO IT.
