Streets of London  Ralph McTell

This was rejected as it was cited that it is a duplicate of Version 7. The chords are
very similar however Version 7 has a number of verse faults that this version corrects.
Most notably
V7 - picking up the paper
This - kicking up the paper
V7 - some old man
This - same old man
V7 - Each day lasts and hour
This - Each tea lasts an hour
There are a variety of other differences too. Some excess "And" at the start of verses 3
and 4 plus a few other extras.
I have also repeated the chorus for those people using the Auto-Scrolling feature of the
tablet app to play along with.
Verse 1:
[C]Have you seen the [G]old man, [Am]in the closed-down [Em]market
[F]kicking up the [C]paper, with his w[D7]orn-out s[G7]hoes?
[C]In his eyes you [G]see no pride, [Am]and held loosely [Em]by his side
[F]yesterday's [C]paper, telling y[G7]esterday's n[C]ews
Chorus:
[F]So how can you [Em]tell me, you're [C]lo - ne - [Am]ly
[D7] don't say for [D7]you that the sun don't sh[G]ine?[G7]

[F]dirt in her h[C]air, and her [D7]clothes in [G7]rags?
[C]She's no time for [G]talking, she j[Am]ust keeps right on [Em]walking
[F]Carrying her [C]home, in two [G7]carrier [C]bags
Chorus:
[F]So how can you [Em]tell me, you're [C]lo - ne - [Am]ly
[D7] don't say for [D7]you that the sun don't [G]shine?[G7]

[F](there I'll) show you [C]something, to [G7]make you change your [C]mind
Verse 3:
[C]In the all-night c[G]afe, at a [Am]quarter past el[Em]even
[F]same old m[C]an sitting t[D7]here on his o[G7]wn

[F]Each tea lasts an [C]hour, then he [G7]wanders home [C]alone

[F]So how can you [Em]tell me, you're [C]lo - ne - [Am]ly
[D7] don't say for [D7]you that the sun don't [G]shine?[G7]

[F]For one more forgotten [C]hero, and a w[G7]orld that doesn't [C]care
