I was just playing along with it and the adjustments I made were simply how
I thought it sounded best in accordance with the piano.
I seriously just copy/pasted his tab and made my tweaks on the intro and the one FGCG run.

On the peak of the Am the open e is the easiest and smoothest to play in my opinion,
however the piano sounds best if you play the 5th fret instead, however it breaks up
the slur and sounds choppier. This is what it looks like:
