The Sound of You and I  Seabird

This is my first time putting a song up, but I really love this song and could not find
anything for it so I played around until I found what sounded pretty right. It's not
perfect, but it's pretty good I think. The Am part is the only part I had trouble with.
It may be wrong.
Capo 3
[G]Not so long a[D]go, I kn[C]ew how to laugh
You tau[G]ght me how to lo[D]ve, and h[C]ow to dance
When th[G]ings went wr[D]ong, you al[C]ways had a song
That always seemed to m[Am]ake things ri[C]ght
It was the so[G]und of y[D]ou and [C]I
(The rest of the song follows the same pattern)
[G]Maybe someday so[D]on I'll bec[C]ome a man.
[G]Put off childish th[D]ings and t[C]ake your hand.
With yo[G]urs in m[D]ine, I th[C]ink I'll be alright,
I think I'll make it thr[Am]ough the ni[C]ght.
[G] [D] [C] [G]
[D]When I [C]hear the sound of you and I, the sound of you and I.
When yo[G]u're a w[D]ay, you th[C]ink it'd be ok,
to sing this song just [Am]one more ti[C]me?
[G] [D] [C] [G]
[D]I love [C]the sound of you and I, the sound of you and I.
