Lie I Believe  Unknown

[E]Well I dial your number maybe 'third times a charm
And you make a pillow in the crook of his [A]arm
When you put on your s[C#m]tory I will sigh with rel[E]ief
Whatever you s[A]ay dear its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
[E]Our car windows are steamy like the blue in your eyes
And I stare at the moonlight shining down on your th[A]ighs
Why is love that is s[C#m]o pure got to be so na[E]?ve?
I'll find that ag[A]ain dear its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
[E]But if you stand n[A]aked the mirror won't [C#m]lie
But it has to be f[B]iltered through the wish of an e[E]ye
And all that I ne[A]eded was your reflection of[C#m] me
You said I was so[A]meone its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
Instrumental break:
The first bar is a barre chord E minus bass notes, then slide
down to Eb and then D (I'm not sure here but it sounds okay)
before moving up to A for the second bar: play along and its
easy to mimic.

E | A | C#m | B | E
E | A | C#m | A | B | E

[E]Soon the valley will ripen not long after the snow
New loves will find me when they're old they will [A]go
But some love lasts for[C#m]ever that's why I gr[E]ieve
Time heals all[A] wounds is a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
[E]But if you stand n[A]aked the mirror won't [C#m]lie
But it has to be f[B]iltered through the wish of an e[E]ye
And all that I ne[A]eded was your reflection of[C#m] me
You said I was so[A]meone its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
You said I was so[A]meone its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
You said I was so[A]meone its a l[B]ie I bel[E]ieve
Big rousing finish:
[E/A/B/E]

This is the correct key, but I've seen Scott play this song acoustically a dozen times live. He capos on the 4th fret. Easy to fix with Chordie. Just transpose to -4 semitones and use what it gives you with the capo on the 4th fret. Easy Peasy!!
