Wonderous Stories  Yes

[Ok, this is a cool song, I think I have got this spot on, but this is my first time so
any comments would be really appreiciated - samuel.lickiss@btinternet.com]

[Intro is just two B chords played by themselves, listen to the CD and you will hear the
pattern.]

[B]I awoke this morning Love laid m[A]e down by the river,
[B]Drifting I turned on up-stream b[Bm]ound for my forgiver,
In the giv[Dm]ing of my eyes to see your face,[A]
[Dm]Sound did silence me leaving me no tr[A]ace,
I beg to leave[E] to hear your w[A/E]onderous stories,
[E]Beg to hear your wonde[A/E]rous sto[E]ries,
[A/E]La la la[G#m]...

[Thats the verse, this follows straight on to the second verse, once you know the chords
well enough for the first verse its easy to pick up for the other ones. I'll just post
the words for the second verse.]

He spoke of lands not far, nor lands they were in his mind,
Of fusion captured captured high, where reasons captured his time,
In no time at all he took me to the gate,
In haste I quickly checked the time ot see if I was late,
I had to leave to hear your wonderous stories,
Had to hear your wonderous stories,
La la la...

[Tben it goes to a funnny bit:-]

[E]Return to he[A/E]ar your wonderous,[E] stories..[A/E]...
[E]La la..[A/E].... la  la[E] la la....[A/E]....
[E/B]La la la...[E]....
Hearing,  [A/E]
[E]Hearing, [A/B]
[E/B]Hearing,   [A/E]
[E/B]Hearing,   [A/B]
[E]Hearing,   [A/E]                [E/B]
[Tben it goes back to verse tbree:]
It is no lie, I see deeply into the future,
Imagine everything you're close,
And were you there to stnad so cautiosly at first,
And then so high,
As he spoke my spririt climbed into the sky, I bid it to return,
To hear you wonderous stories,
Had to hear you wonderous stories,
La la la...

[Almost tbe end of tbe song now, just one little cbord bit and tben tbe end of it.]

[A/E]     La la,   [G#m7]
La la,    [E]           [B]        [Bm/E]             [Dm]
[A]Hearing,    [Dm]
[A]Hearing, h[E]earing your won[A/E]derous stori[E]es,   [A/E]           [Bm/D]
[And thats the song. I am only 15 and not yet a music expert, but I will try and put
chords to the entire album - Going For The One, then I will start on the King Crimson
albums.]

[Just one last note, for tbe verse I bave some alternative cbords tbat work well as well].

[B]I awoke this m[D#m]orning love laid m[A]e down by the ri[C#m]ver,
[B]Drifting I tu[D#m]rned on upstream b[Bm]ound for my f[G]orgiver,
In the [Dm]giving of my eyes to see your fa[A]ce,
[Dm]sound did silence me leaving me no t[A]race,
I beg to lea[E]ve to hear your won[A/E]derous stori[E]es,    [A/E]
[A]Beg to hear your wo[A/E]nderous stor[E]ies,
[A/E]La la la.  [G#m]
[Thats the alternative version for those who can't reach the top notes, few males can!

I changed the chord listed as E#m7 to Fm7. While E#m7 may be harmonically correct as the notation, the point seemed to be able to play what is notated. E#m7 did not show up in the chord scheme while Fm7 does.
