Sunday Morning - Maroon 5

This is probably my favorite song by Maroon 5. It's so much fun to play on the piano,
so I decided to transcribe it to guitar. It sounds great, so learn it, play it, and
enjoy!
I've broken it down in 2 sections: the piano chords transcribed to guitar and the
electric guitar riffs.
Tuning: Standard

Dm9 G13 Cmaj9 (Fill) Dm7 G7 Cmaj7 (Fill)
Verse 1:
[Dm9] Sunday [G13]morning, rain i[Cmaj9]s falling,
[Dm7] steal some[G7] covers, share[Cmaj7] some skin.
[Dm9] Clouds ar[G13]e shrouding us in[Cmaj9] moments unforgettable,
yo[Dm7]u twist to fit the[G7] mold that I am i[Cmaj7]n.
But [Dm7]things just get so [G13]crazy, living[Cmaj9] life gets hard to do,
and I would [Dm7]gladly hit the [G7]road, get up and [Cmaj7]go if I knew,
that [Dm9]someday it would [G13]lead me back to [Cmaj9]you,
that [Dm7]someday it would [G7]lead me back to[Cmaj7] you.
Chorus:
That may be [Dm7]all... [G7]I...[Cmaj7] need,
In darkness she is [Dm7]all... [G7]I...[Cmaj7] see.
Come and rest your [Dm7]bones... [G7]with...[Cmaj7] me.
Driving slow on Sunday [Dm7]morning,
and I[G7] never wa[Cmaj7]nt to leave.
Verse 2:
[Dm9] Fingers[G7#5] trace your every [Cmaj7]outline, oh yeah, yeah,
[Dm7] paint [G7]a picture with my[Cmaj7] hands.
[Dm9] Back and [G13]forth, we sway like [Cmaj9]branches in a storm,
change the [Dm7]weather, still to[G7]gether when it [Cmaj7]ends.
*Interlude*
Verse 3:
Bu[Dm9]t things just get s[G7#5]o crazy, livin[Cmaj7]g life gets hard to do,
Sunday m[Dm7]orning, rain i[G7]s falling, and I'[Cmaj7]m calling out to you.
Singing[Dm9] someday it'll [G13]bring me back to[Cmaj9] you,
find a[Dm7] way to bring mys[G7]elf back home t[Cmaj7]o you.
Outro:
Repeat Dm7 G7 Cmaj7 as many times as you want.

The verse guitar in this song pretty quiet so all you can hear are the high notes, and
it helps that it's accentuated by the wah effect.
The guitar starts at "Clouds are shrouding us..." and the riff starts at the same time
the Dm9 chord for the piano is played and it repeats until the chourus.
Play with slight distortion & wah effect

Yeah, that's it! I hope you guys enjoy Maroon 5 just as much as I do!
Like I said: learn it, play it, and enjoy!
P.S. In my opinion, it sounds great acoustically! So try that out if you get a chance!
