Angels  Robbie Williams

Angels by Robbie Williams
Tabbed by Gijs van den Broek
This is the only right version!!
It's played with a piano and a guitar and another guitar that plays the solo. Here are the two guitar tabs:
Intro:
[E]
Verse:
I sit and [E]wait. Does an angel contempla[A]te my fate[C#m].
[B]And do they k[E]now the places were we go when we're grey and [A]old.[C#m]
[B]Cuz I have been [A]told that salvation lets their [C#m]wings unfold.[A]
So when I'm l[D]ying in my bed,
Thoughts [A]running through my head,
And I [E]feel that love is dead.
I[D]'m loving [A]angels ins[E]tead.
Chorus:
And through it [B]all she offers me prot[C#m]ection,
A lot love and aff[A]ection, whether I'm right or wr[E]ong.
And down the waterf[B]all wherever it may t[C#m]ake me,
I know that life won't br[A]eak me.
When I come to [G#m]call, she won't for[F#m]sake me.
[D]I'm loving an[A]gels inst[E]ead.

Verse:
[E]When I'm feeling weak and my pain walks down a on[A]e way street[C#m].
[B]I look above[E] and I know I'll always be blessed[A] with love.[C#m]
[B]And[D] as the feeling grows
she [A]breathes flesh to my bones
And wh[E]en love is dead,
[D]I'm loving [A]angels inst[E]ead.
Solo:
[Bm] [A] [E]

 e|-------------------------------------------------------
 B|--9--7h9------------9--7h9------------9--7h9------0----
 G|-----------9-9/11------------9-9/11------------9-------
 D|-------------------------------------------------------
 A|-------------------------------------------------------
 E|-------------------------------------------------------

This solo 4 times. The last note (the 0) can also be played as a B on the D string (a 9) you'll have to see for yourself what's best.
You can even play the 11 on the G string as a 7 on the B string. You don't have to use the slide but it doesn't sound as good as the slide.
Playing order:
Verse one
Chorus
Verse two (drums enter)
Chorus
Solo
Chorus
The last note from the verse continues to the chorus until the B comes in. This last chord ( the E) is very nice if you play the lower strings so you get a very heavy sound.
