Hallelujah  Rufus Wainwright

Please note! I didn't write this tab! All credit for this should go to phleigm,
I was just playing along with it and the adjustments I made were simply how
I thought it sounded best in accordance with the piano.
I seriously just copy/pasted his tab and made my tweaks on the intro and the one FGCG run.
Hope you enjoy!

----0-----------2-----------0-----------2---------
--------------------------------------------------
--3---------2-0---------2-3---------2-0-----------

On the peak of the Am the open e is the easiest and smoothest to play in my opinion,
however the piano sounds best if you play the 5th fret instead, however it breaks up
the slur and sounds choppier. This is what it looks like:
[C] [Am] [C] [Am]

I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord

I've [C]heard there was a [Am]secret chord
That [C]David played, and [Am]it pleased the Lord
Bu[F]t you don't reall[G]y care for mus[C]ic, do yo[G]u?
It[C] goes like this, the[F] fourth, the[G] fifth
The [Am]minor fall, the [F]major lift
The [G]baffled king compo[Em]sing Halle[Am]lujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G-C-G]elujah
Your [C]faith was strong b[Am]ut you needed proof
You s[C]aw her bathing on [Am]the roof
He[F]r beauty in the m[G]oonlight overt[C]hrew you[G]
Sh[C]e tied you to a kitc[F]hen [G]chair
She [Am]broke your thron[F]e, she cut your hair
And [G]from your lips she[Em] drew the [Am]Hallelujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G-C-G]elujah
Maybe[C] I've been here be[Am]fore
I kno[C]w this room, I've [Am]walked this floor
I [F]used to live alon[G]e before I kne[C]w you[G]
I'[C]ve seen your flag on[F] the marble [G]arch
love[Am] is not a victor[F]y march
It's[G] a cold and it's a[Em] broken ha[Am]llelujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G-C-G]elujah
There[C] was a time you'd [Am]let me know
What'[C]s real and going o[Am]n below
Bu[F]t now you never s[G]how it to me d[C]o you?[G]
Re[C]member when I m[F]oved in [G]you?
The [Am]holy dark was mo[F]ving too
And [G]every breath we dr[Em]ew was hal[Am]lelujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G-C-G]elujah
Maybe[C] there's a God abo[Am]ve
And a[C]ll I ever learned [Am]from love
Wa[F]s how to shoot at[G] someone who o[C]utdrew yo[G]u
It[C]'s not a cry you can[F] hear at nig[G]ht
It's[Am] not somebody wh[F]o's seen the light
It's[G] a cold and it's a[Em] broken ha[Am]llelujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[Am]elujah
Hall[F]elujah, Hall[C-G-C]elujah
