Outlaw Heart Tiger Army
Bass Tab
Tabbed by Mothra
Well to start off,the chords used in the song are C# A#m F# and G#.
And the bass simply follows using Fifths. Which really is only two notes
at a time, the root note and the 'fifth' which is the note above the root.
Example for C# on the A string, the note above is G# on the E string.
It may sound complicated, but it is very simple. If you listen to the song you'll notice
back-and-forth bass line, only two notes per chord. Bass is very easy to play, I'll
you.
For C# Sharp use this.....A#m.........F#.........G#
G-----------------------|G---------|G---------|G---------| D-----------------------|D---------|D---------|D---------| A-4---4-----------------|A-1---1---|A---4---4-|A---6---6-| E---4---4---------------|E---1---1-|E-2---2---|E-4---4---|
Those are the riffs for the chords, just plug them in where you need to.
[C#]Desert night under [A#m]lonely stars
[C#]Cruising down the highway takes me [A#m]farther from home

[F#]Never spoke the [C#]words of love I hid in my heart
If she [F#]heard them now would she still [G#]care?
[F#]Wonder if she's thinking of [C#]me? does [F#]she hate me for what I've [C#]done?
[F#]How I wish that I could change [C#]everything and go back

That's all there is to it. Just play the riff notes to the particular chord.
You can play any Doo wop song or alot of fifties rock n roll songs or country ballads
outlaw heart, with this formula. playing in 'fifths' is all a bass does for these types of
even in In the Orchard. If you have any question write me at Mothra_82@hotmail.com
