Outlaw Heart  Tiger Army

Bass Tab
Tabbed by Mothra
Well to start off,the chords used in the song are C# A#m F# and G#.
And the bass simply follows using Fifths. Which really is only two notes
at a time, the root note and the 'fifth' which is the note above the root.
Example for C# on the A string, the note above is G# on the E string.
It may sound complicated, but it is very simple. If you listen to the song you'll notice
back-and-forth bass line, only two notes per chord. Bass is very easy to play, I'll
you.
For C# Sharp use this.....A#m.........F#.........G#

 G-----------------------|G---------|G---------|G---------|
 D-----------------------|D---------|D---------|D---------|
 A-4---4-----------------|A-1---1---|A---4---4-|A---6---6-|
 E---4---4---------------|E---1---1-|E-2---2---|E-4---4---|

Those are the riffs for the chords, just plug them in where you need to.
[C#]Desert night under [A#m]lonely stars
[C#]Cruising down the highway takes me [A#m]farther from home
[C#]Whiskey and [A#m]regret, [C#]neither can erase the fact that [A#m]I have done wrong
[F#]So now I'm on the [C#]run, the [F#]law is on my [C#]trail
[F#]Let down the only girl that ever [C#]seemed to be the one for me
so [F#]now I wander [G#]alone.
SOLO-C#,A#m,C#,A#m,C#,A#m,C#,A#m...
[C#]Alone in a cheap motel [A#m]room.
[C#]Praying to the Lord [A#m]above
[C#]Burden of the past rests so [A#m]heavy on my shoulders
My [F#]conscience carries the weight of [G#]blood
[C#]Cigarette smoke and [A#m]shadow, a [C#]neon cactus in the [A#m]night
[C#]Did what I did because I [A#m]thought that I had no choice
[F#]but there's always another [G#]way
I [F#]look to the moon and [C#]stars, [F#]somewhere underneath them she's [C#]there
[F#]Never spoke the [C#]words of love I hid in my heart
If she [F#]heard them now would she still [G#]care?
[F#]Wonder if she's thinking of [C#]me? does [F#]she hate me for what I've [C#]done?
[F#]How I wish that I could change [C#]everything and go back
[F#]now that my last chance is [G#]gone, It's gone...
Second Solo: C# A#m C# A#m C# A#m C# A#m
[F#] [C#] [F#] [C#] [F#] [C#] [F#] [G#]
[F#]Moon, will you tell her for [C#]me
[F#]I'm sorry for all the trouble that I've [C#]caused
[F#]If only I could find a way to r[C#]eturn to her someday
[F#]for I long to hold her in my [G#]arms
[F#]But I fear that i'm not long for this [C#]world
because I [F#]will not go out without a [C#]fight
[F#]I'm running forever and if [C#]they should catch me
[F#]One last thought of her before my gun is [G#]fired...
C# A#m C# A#m C# A#m F# G#.
That's all there is to it. Just play the riff notes to the particular chord.
You can play any Doo wop song or alot of fifties rock n roll songs or country ballads
outlaw heart, with this formula. playing in 'fifths' is all a bass does for these types of
even in In the Orchard. If you have any question write me at Mothra_82@hotmail.com
