NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN
Moody Blues
 EmDEmD
    Nights in white satin       never reaching the end
 CGFEm
   Letters I've written        never meaning to send
 EmDEmD
   Beauty I'd always missed    with these eyes before
 CGFEm
   Just what the truth is      I can't say anymore
CHORUS
 AC
Cause I love you, yes I love you
 EmDEmD
Ohhh how I love you
Gazing at people, some hand in hand
Just what I'm going through they can't understand
Some try to tell me thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be, you'll be in the end

                   =============================================================
I arranged the song in Am using barre chords to match the
original chord centers:
Am: 577555
G: 355433
F: 133211
C: 332010
Bb: x13331 or 688766
While NIWS is generally played with a strum (on solo
guitar) to imitate the original sleepy sound of the Melotron,
the song can be rearranged slightly for a more delicate sound
using arpegiated chords:
Am (barre 5):
E||---------------------------|--
B||-------5-----------5-------|--
G||-----5---5-------5---5-----|--
D||---7-------7---7-------7---|--      etc, etc
A||-------------7-------------|--
E||-5-------------------------|--

ramrbamr001 (report comment to admin):
the chordes for the flute soloist are as follows:

Em, D, C, B7,
Em, D, C, B7,
Em, C, Em, C,
A, B7, A, B7
Em, D, C, Em, D, Em, D (and back to the beginning...
ramrbamr001 (report comment to admin):
Also, change the "F" chorde to a "Fmaj7", sounds better and that's the way we use to play back in the 60's.
