Free fallin

Tom Petty

--------------------------PLEASE NOTE---------------------------------#

She's a good girl, loves her mama
Loves Jesus and America too
She's a good girl, crazy 'bout Elvis
Loves horses and her boyfriend too
It's a long day living in Reseda
There's a freeway runnin' through the yard
And I'm a bad boy cos I don't even miss her
I'm a bad boy for breakin' her heart
And I'm free,       free fallin'
Yeah I'm free,       free fallin'
All the vampires walkin' through the valley
Move west down Ventura Boulevard
And all the bad boys are standing in the shadows
All the good girls are home with broken hearts ...CHORUS
 (backinvocal part):
Free fallin', now I'm a, free fallin', now I'm a
Free fallin', now I'm a, free fallin', now I'm a
I wanna glide down over Mulholland
I wanna write her name in the sky
Gonna free fall out into nothin'
Gonna leave this world for a while...CHORUS (with backing vocals)
CHORUS (and backing vocals) AGAIN

lyric positions are wrong? Or the chording format pushed the text off the line.
Hectorious (report comment to admin):

While this might work as the second guitar, it shure as heck ain't this lead.
Lt90210 (report comment to admin):

chorus doesn't make sense
kerwoman (report comment to admin):

eldarendil (report comment to admin):

larsenredrose (report comment to admin):

ledzeppelin569 (report comment to admin):
thats because it is correct in D lol
crazysoldierguy (report comment to admin):
this song actually works a lot better if you capo the first fret and then play it as e, a, e, a, b. try the a and b as suspended chords though. sounds a lot better. the actual notes are f, Bbsus, and Csus

cheddar (report comment to admin):
Your chords are for the vocal line, not the guitar which is D, Dsus, Dsus2 (commonly capo'd to F)
bingo (report comment to admin):

would be good if it didn't confusingly repeat "C" unnecessarily
nicomas2471 (report comment to admin):

Chords are not even close

peppertom21 (report comment to admin):
The chords are D Dsus and Asus, just try them , they are correct.
kevster1963 (report comment to admin):
Capo on 3 then the chords are

D Dsus4 G D Asus slide to A
kawasaki550 (report comment to admin):
Good job. Works well for me. The extra C is there to show where to emphasise the chord just before changing to the G.

D and Dsus versions are too thin. Try playing your G with the B string covered at fret 3 and the C with the top E and B covered at fret 3(like a C2).

I've noticed that the chords work, but it may help to see the beginning riff like this: G C C-G-D.
