When God Made Me  Neil Young

Was he [C]thinking a[G]bout my [F]country,  [C]
or the [F]color [G]of my [C]skin?
Was he [C]thinkin' '[G]bout my [F]religion, [C]
and the [F]way I [G]worshipped [Am]him?
Did he [C]create just [E7]me in his i[F]mage,
or [C]every [G]living [C]thing?
When [C]God [G]made [Am]me.  [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me.

Was he [C]planning [G]only for [F]believers,   [C]
or for [F]those who [G]just had  [C]faith?
Did he envision [G]all the [F]wars [C]
that were [F]fought [G]in his [Am]name?
Did he [C]think there was [E7]only one [F]way
to [C]be [G]close to [C]him?

When [C]God [G]made [Am]me. [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me

[C]  [G]  [F]  [C]   [F]  [G]  [C]
Did he [F]give us the [E7]gift of [F]love
to [C]say who [D]we could [G]choose?
When [C]God [G]made [Am]me. [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me
When [C]God [G]made [Am]me. [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me
Did he [C]give me the [G]gift of [F]voice  [C]
so [F]some could [G]silence [C]me?
Did he give me the [G]gift of [F]vision  [C]
not [F]knowing what [G]I might [Am]see?
Did he [C]give me the [E7]gift of com[F]passion
to [C]help my [G]fellow [C]man?
When [C]God [G]made [Am]me. [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me
When [C]God [G]made [Am]me. [F]
When [C]God [G]made [C]me

This is not really a correction. I just inserted chords over the all the verses. I find it's easier to learn the song that way than when the chords are just over the first verse. Revert to the original if you like.
