Stay  Sugarland

[D]I've been sitting here staring at the c[A]lock on the wall
[D]And I've been laying here praying, pr[A]aying she won't call
It's just ano[Em]ther call from home
You[G];ll get it and be gone and I'll [D]be cryin[A]g
[D]I'll be begging you baby, b[A]eg you not to leave
[D]But I'll be left here waiting' with [A]my heart on my sleeve
Oh for the n[Em]ext time we'll be here
Seems l[G]ike a million years, and I think I'm d[D]ying   [A]
[Em]What do I have to do to m[G]ake you see
[Em]She can't l[G]ove you like [A]me

CHORUS:
Why don't you s[D]tay
I'm down on my k[G]nees
I'm so tired of being lo[Em]nely
Don't I give you what you n[A]eed
When she c[F#m]alls you to [Bm]go
There's one thing you should k[G]now
We don't have to live this [Em]way     [A]
Baby, why don't you s[D]tay      [A]    [Em]     [G]    [A]

[D]You keep telling me baby th[A]ere will come a time
[D]When you will leave her arms and fo[A]rever be in mine
Well I [Em]don't think that's the truth
And I d[G]on't like being used and I'm tired of wa[D]iting     [A]

[Em]It's too much pain to h[G]ave to bare
[Em]To love a [G]man you have to s[A]hare

CHORUS
Why don't you s[D]tay
                [G]
I'm down on my knees
I'm so tired of being l[Em]onely
Don't I give you what you ne[A]ed
When she [F#m]calls you to [Bm]go
There's one thing you should k[G]now
We don't have to live this [Em]way     [A]
Baby, why don't you s[D]tay

I can't ta[Em]ke it any longer
But my w[G]ill is getting stronger
And I t[Em]hink I know just what I have to [A]do
I can't w[Em]aste another minute
After [G]all that I've put in it
I've g[Em]iven you my best
Why does she g[A]et the best of you
So n[Em]ext time you find
You w[G]ant to leave her bed for m[A]ine

Why don't you s[D]tay
I'm up off my kn[G]ees
I'm so tired of being l[Em]onely
You can't give me what I n[A]eed
When she b[F#m]egs you not to [Bm]go
There's one thing you should kn[G]ow
I don't have to live this [Em]way       [A]
Baby why don't you s[D]tay     [A]    [Em]     [G]    [A]    [D]

I noticed he plays this song with a capo on the 2nd fret. Does that change the notes?

Thanks for the chords!! However I don't believe this is in the same key as the original. I believe that it is in the key of E. Put these chords do work, just a lower key. Thanks again.
