Scarlet Tide  Alison Krauss

When I [C]recall his par[F]ting w[C]ords
Must I acce[C]pt his f[F]ate
Or t[G]ake mys[C]elf far fr[F]om this pl[G]ace
I thought I he[C]ard a blac[F]k bell t[C]oll
A little b[C]ird did s[F]ing
M[G]an has no ch[C]oice
When h[F]e wants e[G]very t[C]hing
We'll r[C]ise abov[G]e the scarlet ti[C]de
That tr[C]ickles down through the mo[F]untain
And sep[C]arates the wi[F]dow fr[G]om the b[C]ride
Man goes bey[C]ond his o[F]wn dec[C]ision
Gets caught[C] up in the mecha[F]nism
Of swin[C]dlers who act like k[G]ings
And brokers w[C]ho break e[F]verything [G]
The dark of n[C]ight was swi[F]ftly fa[C]ding
Close to the dawn of [F]day
W[F]hy would I wa[C]nt him just to l[G]ose him ag[C]ain

I made a minor correction by resolving the F chord on the word "everything" to a G on the last syllable(in the C chord version). I believe this was inadvertently left out.
