Dylan  Good Riddance

by Good Riddance
tabbed by Darby Edelen
The rhythm guitar is pretty right on here. May take a little listening to the song to figure out the octaves in the outro but the chords there are right
too. My advice is: work on the rhythm and listen to the song A LOT.

[A#] I heard you [A]threw your [F]phone away
(the D# riff) A# F
A brave attempt at dodging sympathy
And maybe you're [A#]right
Who needs checking [A]up on [F]anyway?
(the D# riff)
But I remember when I felt my worst
Its [A#]friends like you I [A]called on first
[D#] [D#] [F]
[A#] The shadows of [A]what [F]seemed so sure
(the D# riff)
Haunt you as you tread alone
The [A#]empty house you [F]bought with her
[A#] But even w[A]hen you're [F]torn apart
(the D# riff)
Worlds away I feel your pain
And [A#]carry you in[D#]side my heart
[A#] [A] [G]
[G] I will search my ac[D#]quaintance
(the A#ii riff)
For a close-lipped friend
With strength and under[D]standing
When I think Ive reached my [D#]end

I want to hear your voice again
And it would be so sad
If I learned you never even tried to call me up
But its not so bad
When you remember you've got friends to pick you up
