[E]   [E/G#]      [A]   [E/G#]      [B]   [C#m]     [A]   [E]  VERSE:
[E]I'm not [E/G#]afraid of [A]anything in this [E/G#]world
There's [B]nothing you can [C#m]throw at me that I [A]haven't  already [E]heard
[E]I'm just trying to [E/G#]find a [A]decent mel[E/G#]ody
A [B]song that I can [C#m]sing in my [A]own compa[E]ny
[C#m]I never thought you were a [A]fool
F#m(2nd verse: F#7) A
But darling, look at you
[C#m]You gotta stand up [A]straight, carry your own we[C#m]ight
These tears are going [B]nowhere, baby
[E]You've [E/G#]got to [A]get yourself [E/G#]together
You've got [B]stuck in a [C#m]moment and now you [A]can't get [E]out of it
[E]Don't [E/G#]say that [A]later will be [E/G#]better now you're [G#/C]stuck in a [C#m]moment
And you [A]can't get out of it[E]
I will not forsake, the colours that you bring
But the nights you filled with fireworks
They left you with nothing
I am still enchanted by the light you brought to me
I still listen through your ears, and through your eyes I can see
And you are such a fool
To worry like you do
I know it's tough, and you can never get enough
Of what you don't really need now... my oh my
[F#m]I was unconscious, half asleep
The [A]water is warm till you discover how [E]deep...
[F#m]I wasn't jumping... for me it was a fall
[A]It's a long way down to nothing at [D]all[B]
[E]And [E/G#]if the [A]night runs [E/G#]over
[B]And [C#m]if the [A]day won't [E]last
[E]And [E/G#]if our [A]way should [E/G#]falter
G#/C C#m A E(1st x only)
Along the stony pass
It's just a moment
This time will [E]pass

I like to capo at the second fret and transpose the chord shapes down 2 semitones (i.e. I capo at 2, and start on a D shape, but still playing in the original key). Then there's a nice flow to the bass notes, going from the open D shape (E chord), to adding the G# on the bottom (with my thumb), to the G shape (A chord).
