Howdy everybody,

Heres my transcription of Mrs Robinson. I'm not sure exactly how accurate the
riffs are, but they seem not too bad to me. Any comments or corrections
please email me.

VERSE 2: (use Riff We'd like to know
  A little bit about you
  For our files.
We'd like to help you learn
  To help yourself.
Look around you, all you see are
  Sympathetic eyes.
  Stroll around the grounds
  Until you feel at home.

CHORUS 2: (as before)
  And here's to you,
  Mrs Robinson

  Wo wo wo
  God bless you please,

Heaven holds a place for those who pray
  Hey hey hey,
  Hey hey hey.

VERSE 3: (use Riff Hide it in a hiding place
  Where no one ever goes.
Put it in you pantry with your cupcakes.
  It's a little secret,
  Just the Robinsons' affair.
Most of all, you've got to
  Hide it from the kids.

CHORUS 3: (as before)
  Coo coo ca-choo,
  Mrs Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know
  Wo wo wo.
  God bless you please,
  Mrs Robinson,
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
  Hey hey hey,
  Hey hey hey.

VERSE 4: (use Riff Sitting on a sofa
  On a Sunday afternoon.
  Going to the candidates' debate.
  Laugh about it,
  Shout about it,
  When you've got to choose,
Every way you look at it you lose.

CHORUS 4: (as before)
  Where have you gone,
  Joe DiMaggio?
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you
  Ooo ooo ooo.
  What's that you say,
  Mrs Robinson?
Joltin' Joe has left and gone away
  Hey hey hey,
  Hey hey hey.

Just a point of information: the version of "Mrs. Robinson" which appears
in _The Graduate_ sounds utterly different from that which was released
on the "Bookends" album. It does not use the riff you have transcribed
here at all, but rather a complex strumming pattern (and it has none of
the lyrics that appeared in the final version except for the dee-dees and
the chorus).

The soundtrack version does appear on _The Graduate_ soundtrack album,
which I have in vinyl. I have no idea if it is available on CD (though I
would guess it is).

Happy strumming...
