Almost Lover  A Fine Frenzy

Your finge[Am]rtips across my skin
The palm trees [Dm]swaying in the wind
Am Sm
Images
You sang me [Am]Spanish lullabies
The sweetest [Dm]sadness in your eyes
Clever [Am]trick

Well, I [G]never want to see you un[C]happy
I [Dm]thought you'd want the same for [G]me

(Chorus)
[C] Goodbye, my almost lover
[G] Goodbye, my hopeless dream
[Am] I'm trying not to think about you
[Dm] Can't you just let me be?
[C] So long, my luckless romance
[G] My back is turned on you
[Am] Should've known you'd bring me heartache
[Dm] Almost lovers always [C]do

[Dm]  We walked al[Am]ong a crowded street
You took my [Dm]hand and danced with me
Ima[Am]ges         [Dm]
And when you [Am]left, you kissed my lips
You told me you would [Dm]never, never forget
These ima[Am]ges, n[Dm]o

Well, I'd [G]never want to see you un[C]happy
I [Dm]thought you'd want the same for m[G]e
Repeat Chorus
(same as first time)
[Am] I cannot go to the o[G]cean
I cannot drive the streets at [Am]night
I cannot wake up in the mor[Dm]ning
Without you on my [Am]mind
Well so you're gone and I'm haun[G]ted
And I bet you are just [Dm]fine

[Dm]Did I make it that
Easy to walk right in and out
Of my [G]life?

Repeat Chrous
(same as 1st and 2nd times)

I would play f insteat of Dm always.

Elibeth is absolutely right - and I think the bridge should go like this:

Am - G - F (not keep it on G) - Em (not Dm) - Am - G - F (not Dm) - Dm - G.

Just as you know.

elibeth (report)

The chorus is chorded
C G Dm (not Am) F (not Dm).
And actually I think that F should replace some of the other Dm throughout the song.
