Lets Start A Band  Amy Macdonald

[C#m]Put a ribbon round my neck and [A]call me a libertine
[E]I will sing you songs of dr[G#m]eams I used to dream
[C#m]I will sail away on seas of [A]silver and gold
[E]Until I reach my h[G#m]ome
[C#m]Give me a guitar and I'll [A]be your troubadour
[E]Your strolling minstrel [G#m]12th century door to door
I don't [C#m]know anymore, if that [A]feeling is past will it [E]last
Oh, how can you be s[G#m]ure?
And h[A]ow do I know if you're fe[G#m]eling the same as m[C#m]e?
And h[A]ow do I know if that's th[G#m]e only place you w[C#m]ant to be?
Same chords on the 2nd verse

Give me a stage and I'll be your rock and roll queen
Your 20th century cover of a magazine
Rolling Stone here I come, watch out everyone, I'm singing
I'm singing my song
Give me a festival and I'll be your Glastonbury star
The lights are shining everyone knows who you are
Singing songs about dreams about hopes about schemes
Ooooh, they just came true

And [A]how do I know if you're f[G#m]eeling the same as[C#m] me?
And h[A]ow do I know if that's th[G#m]e only place you w[C#m]ant to be?
And [A]how do I know if you're f[G#m]eeling the same as[C#m] me?
And h[A]ow do I know if that's th[G#m]e only place you w[C#m]ant to be?
[A]And if you want it too, then there's no[G#m]thing left to do:
Let's start a b[C#m]and
Let's start a band
Let's start a b[E]and
Let's start a band

Suggest Capo at the second fret, then play C sharp minor at the 4th.fret(above Capo).A is then also played at the 5th. fret. Both are barre' chords giving a more MacDonald sound. Buy the C.D.I did. It's very good.
