[C]Cracklin' Rosie, get on board
We're gonna ride till there ain't no more to [F]go
Taking it slow Lord, don't you know
H[Dm]ave me a time with a po[G7]or man's lady

[C]Hitchin' on a twilight train
Ain't nothing there that I care to take al[F]ong
Maybe a song To sing when I want
Don't n[Dm]eed to say please to no ma[G7]n for a happy[C] tune

[C]Oh, I [F]love m[G]y Rosi[C]e child
[C]She got the[F] way t[G]o make[C] me happy
[C]You an[F]d me, [G]we go [C]in style
[Dm]Cracklin' Rosie you're a store-bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin'
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin' [G]on
Play it now
Play it now
Play it now, my baby

[C]Cracklin' Rosie, make me a smile
God if it lasts for an hour, that's all [F]right
We got all night To set the world right
[Dm]Find us a dream that don't [G7]ask no questions, yeah
[C]Oh, I [F]love m[G]y Rosi[C]e child
[C]She got the[F] way t[G]o make[C] me happy
[C]You an[F]d me, [G]we go [C]in style
[Dm]Cracklin' Rosie, you're a store-bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin'
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin' [G]on
Play it now
Play it now my baby

The original record is played in C# and has a key change to D approximately two thirds of the way through.
The best thing to do is play it in C with a capo at the first fret. Conveniently, the music stops just before the key change, thereby allowing you to move your capo to the second fret (and still playing in C).
