Sitting on the Dock of the Bay  Otis Redding

intro G G G G

[G]Sitting in the morning [B7]sun
I'll be [C]sitting when the evening [A]comes
[G]Watching the ships [B7]roll in
And I [C]watch 'em roll away a[A]gain

Refrain
[G]Sitting on the dock of the [E]bay
Watching the [G]tide roll a[E]way
I'm just [G]sitting on the dock of the [A]bay
Wasting [G]time [E]

I [G]left my home in [B7]Georgia
Headed [C]for the 'Frisco [A]bay
'Cause I [G]had nothin to [B7]live for
And look like [C]nothing's gonna come my [A]way

So I'm just...
Refrain

[G]Look [D]like [C7]nothing's gonna change
[G]Every[D]thing [C7]still remains the same
[G]I can't [D]do what [C7]ten people tell [G]me to do
[F]So I guess I'll re[D]main the same

[G]Sittin here resting my [B7]bones
And this [C]loneliness won't leave me [A]alone
It's [G]two thousand miles I [B7]roamed
Just to [C]make this dock my [A]home
Now, I'm just...

Just checked it out guys and it sounds spot on,liking the sound of the bar chord run down from C to A too....Cheers!!!

I agree with coyote ; change it to a B !
And when you're at the C chord, do a quick stop on the B chord on the way to the A chord. Easy if you're playing bar chords. Give it a try, you may like it.

I think The E on "live for" might be a B ??
