sdingeswho (report)

I don't have access to the recording right now, but I have a pretty good "aural memory", and I believe the "E" should actually be an E *7*. It's the progression from the Amin to the E7 that gives it that sort-of "gospel" quality (God Bless America!). There's a similar change in The Eagles "Take it to the Limit", at least in the piano part. Thanks! Steve ("sdingeswho")
