This song by B. J. Thomas is wrong (lyric-wise). The words are NOT this version! Perhaps these are the words that were written by the "old cowboy", Hank Williams. I'm quite sure of it, now that I think about it.
If people are going to put a name to a song, please LISTEN to the song to make sure that the version is correct.
Also, if someone else is SINGING the the song, the chords may also differ!!!!
