like the rain  Clint Black

I [E]never liked the rain until I [A]walked through it with [E]you
Every [E]thunder cloud that came was one more [A]I might not get [E]through
But on the [E]darkest day there's always light, and [A]now I see it [E]too
But I [E]never liked the rain until I [A]walked through it with [E]you
I [E]hear it falling in the night and [A]filling up my [E]mind
All the [E]heaven's rivers come to light; I [A]see it all [E]unwind
I [E]hear it talking through the trees and [A]on the window [E]pane
When I [E]hear it I just [A]can't believe I [D]never liked the rain
Like the [E]rain, I have [A]fallen for you [D]and I know just why you
Like the [E]rain, always [A]calling for you, I'm [D]falling for you now
Just like the [E]rain.[E] [E] [A] [D]
[E]When the cloud is rolling over, [A]thunder striking [E]me
It's as [E]bright as lightning and I wonder [A]why I couldn't [E]see
That it's [E]always good and when the flood is [A]gone we still [E]remain
Guess [E]I've known all [A]along I just [D]belong here with you, falling
Like the [E]rain, I have [A]fallen for you, and [D]I know just why you
Like the [E]rain, always [A]calling for you, I'm [D]falling for you now
Just like the [D]rain I have [A]fallen for you, I'm [D]falling for you now
Just like the [E]rain.
And when the [D]night falls on our better days
And [A]we're looking to the sky
For the [D]winds that take us high above the [E]plains
I [D]know that we'll find better ways [A]to look into the eye
Of the [D]storms that will be calling
Forever will be falling
Like the [E]rain, I have [A]fallen for you, [D]and I know just why you
Like the [E]rain, always [A]calling for you, I'm [D]falling for you now just
(repeat 3X)
Like the [E]rain  [D]  [D]  [A]   (repeat 6X on CD)
OUTRO: E E E A E
For the Intro, the 1st Verse, and the Ending I like to do a simple
arpeggio picking pattern on the four low strings. It's not exactly
the same, but it works.
Any corrections are welcome, but I'm not sure how to go about fixing
them in the archives. If anyone can clue me in &/or fix the errors
I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
