And the(C) sadness of his eyes revealed,
The(F) torture of his(C) soul,
He(F) raised a weak and a(C) weary hand,
To(G) brush away the(C) coal.

(C)No warm lights flickered around him,
No(F) blankets there to(C) hold,
(F)Nothing but the(C) howling wind,

When I(C) heard a whistle blowing,
