This Land Is Your Land  Woody Guthrie

words & music by Woody Guthrie, 1940
This full version includes all verses (including the ones that decry the downside of capitalism)
. . . . Refrain . . . .
This land is [C]your land, this land is [G]my land
From Cali-[D7]fornia to the New York [G]Island
From the Redwood [C]forest to the Gulf Stream [G]Waters
[D7]This land was made for you and [G]me

As I went [C]walking that ribbon of [G]highway
I saw a-[D7]bove me that endless [G]skyway
I saw be-[C]low me that golden [G]valley
[D7]This land was made for you and [G]me
. . . . Refrain . . . .

I roamed and [C]rambled and I followed my [G]footsteps
To the sparkling [D7]sands of her diamond [G]deserts
And all a-[C]round me a voice was [G]sounding
[D7]This land was made for you and [G]me
. . . . Refrain . . . .

When the sun came [C]shining then I was [G]strolling
And the wheat fields [D7]waving and the dust clouds [G]rolling
A voice was [C]chanting as the fog was [G]lifting
[D7]This land was made for you and [G]me
. . . . Refrain . . . .

As I went [C]walking, I saw a [G]sign there,
And on the [D7]sign it said "No Tres-[G]passing."
But on the [C]other side it didn’t say [G]nothing,
[D7]That side was made for you and [G]me.
. . . . Refrain . . . .
In the shadow of the [C]steeple I saw my [G]people,
By the relief [D7]office I seen my [G]people;
As they stood there [C]hungry, I stood there [G]asking
Is [D7]this land made for you and [G]me?
. . . . Refrain . . . .
Nobody [C]living can ever [G]stop me,
As I go [D7]walking that freedom [G]highway;
Nobody [C]living can ever make me [G]turn back,
[D7]This land was made for you and [G]me.
. . . . Refrain . . . .

cleaned up the lyric using the version from Rise Up Singing. Arlo Guthrie's website has the alternate lyric

"In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me."

and he leaves out the final lyric posted above.
