Thanks tracelaw I did try that but didn't like the sound, would much prefer to pick the notes than to play the cords.

Just have to keep looking.

I've been playing Mandolin for about 4 mounths no and I love it. I find it much easyer to play than my guitar.

But I wish there were more contemory song to play. I did find a song book for the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? Which has some old song that are relitively easy to play.

If any one knows of any other songs please send  a link.
