If I do run for President I shall have to have Mike (American Chaos Theory) as my running partner as I am sure he will be able to keep most of the sharks away.  But whether it is President or special Cultural Attaché for Portugal, rest assured I will remember my Chordie friends come what may.

Hi Weejie,

I have just enjoyed your second offering to the Songwriting section. Not the easiest to play but the chord progression is good and we all know someone who is indecisive and gets in a panic so it is easy to relate to.

Read James's 'sticky' at the start of the section to learn how to post songs 'nice and purdy' but more importantly it makes it easy for other to play along to.

Wow Jeff,

I started playing a slow ballad but very soon, as James said, I was belting it out. Not your usual style but it is great and works real well. The sentiment of the lyrics is very true and I can only echo James's very apt remarks about them.

If it were censorship the song would simply have been removed, all Moderators/Adminstrators have that authority. Foul languge and spam does gets removed and the abusers are normally banned from the site.

You were pleased to accept praise for an earlier offering so accept the criticism also. Chordie is a friendly place where people of all ages come and enjoy themselves and I think that is what you forgot. What is suitable for adults in an adult only environment is not suitable for innocent youngsters. If this were an adult only environment I can assure you that my previous posting would have been a lot stronger.

That being said I am sure that your presence and comments on the Forum will be of value to the contributors to Chordie. However I still stand by my comments about this song.

I agree with Ken,

If you read through some of the other threads concerning buying a guitar you will find that some members have tried 3 or 4 identical guitars and they have not all sounded the same. You may pay a little more going to your local music emporium but you can try and know exactly what you are getting and you will also have somewhere to go if something should go wrong.
