Hi i have just taken up mando, after buying a 1920,s Banjo-Mandolin as a wall ornament last year my son bought me a cheap teardrop, I got hooked and now own a not so cheap curly top doodad...which I electrified myself.........got my first gig at the end of this month with a country band........not bad for a fifty year old who only played penny whistles before !!! good thing about an electrified mando ....you can turn the volume down when forget the bloody chords!
