Hi guys,
I enjoyed reading through all the first songs and reminising learning in the begining and remembering how much trouble I had with the C chord, well my first riff was Enter Sandman, but my first strum along song was Wild thing closely followed by the eagles peacfull easy feeling

hahaha, love this thread,

At the end of the day, if you add up how much your missus would spend on shoes, hair, nails, cloths, handbags, buety products, coffee, and all the other cr@p, I would say 1 guitar purchase a year (provided it dont take food off the table) is resonable,

But try getting your missus to see that logic is a totally different story., I cant even get a pair of fitting shorts LOL

You guys gave a very in depth facts, cheers guys,

okay one more thing,

I prefer a gloss finish because I hate how a satin finish wears quickly and "polishes" up, what do you guys prefer gloss or satin, and can the finish alter the sound

Enter Sandman by Metallica was the first song I (Riff) i played on electric and pretty easy, to look up have fun

hi guys, I have a Greg Bennett D5. Not a ver expensive guitar, but feels good to play and I really enjoy it, Its not the $$ its the fun you have with it that counts.

BTW anyone know much about Greg Bennets???

Hi everyone, this is my first post.

for me the worst gutar was also a cheap one, I guess you get what you pay for, It was an accustic, Brand was "Magnum"
It looked good, and I bought it wanting to take up guitar. But I knew nothing, was a real bad choice, apart from the terrible sound from the ply top, it was difficult to play, Strings always felt to hard and seemed to far away from the fret board made it very difficult to play,

I replaved it with another cheap range guitar, A Greg Bennett D5. I still playing the D5 I love it. Best $300.00 I ever spent, I have an Australian Made Maton that is better finished that the D5 but is by no means a better guitar in my opinion
