Hi Papaguitar, no you can watch as much as yo can in a month, also if your are past the

beginer stage there are the Phase two and phase 3 lessions, Plus a live Q&A everyday.

I think you would need to take out a years membership to see the good of the site, there are

new Lessions everyday.  There is a teaching tools site, with Jam tracks to play to, and games

to test your music skills.

Why has the Edit mode been taken of the songbooks and songs, the last time I asked I was

told it would be back on soon; that was months ago.

Hi, to al Chordins, I haven't been on the site too much latley as I have been working on my

Gutair playing, and my course with JamPlay. I have to say my playing is coming along fine,

(and I'm not bosting, I know I still have a lot to learn) and as a result I have been getting a

few gigs, something I would not have intertained a year ago,  I have a verry good

Electro Acoustic Guitar, a stage qualitly 100what Amp, two top class mics, a stright stand and

a boom stand, but when I play a gig I feel that I need some kind of backing for the solo Guitar,

Can anyone sugust anything I could buy that would let me have some sort of backing while

I'm playing. In a reasonable price range. I know South Paw gigs a lot I was wandering if he

had any advice.

About five years ago I was sent for a scan to check breathing problims, the scan also showed

a shadow in my left Kidney, it turned out to be cancer.  I was seen a week before Christmas

of that year, and by the 7th of January after that Christmas I was in hospital and had the

kidney removed and then  after a month got the news that the cancer had not got outside the

kidney. That was in Belfast on the NHS. No waiting, no cost.

Hey Zurf, I never sang before anyone untill last Christmas I got conned into singing for the

Christmas Midnight Service, I was as nerverous as hell but the people there seemed to enjoy

it. I sang two songs, Ive already been asked to sing again this christmas, at least half a dozen

songs some with the quire. Halfway through the first song I forgot about the people and got

into the song, I must say I'm looking forward to doing it again, you'll be fine. Do your best;

that is all you can do and if you do that you at least will be happy.

Yes it has been confirmed on Fox News & Sky News that Michael Jackson is dead!

The Apollo Thearter Has his birth and death date on it's Marque.

They estamate his records have sold in excess of 750 Million.

Like him or not he was a true talent and a great loss to Showbiz.

I won't finish with my usual quote tonight instead I'll just say:

RIP Michael; I also remember Farrah Fawcet may she too RIP.

Thanks Zurf, I hope you enjoy your fishing trip and get plenty of photos, but don't you dare

get that SLR wet!

I hear you Russell; but I don't have to like it, perhaps they thought Chordie members were

not only learning the songs but Chording them right, not good for the sale of books with the

wrong chords.

This is just a quickie; I thought Jacko owned all the rights to the Beatles songs.

And as I said why single out Chordie?  Perhaps (Per) or somebody at the top could answer

that for us, just curious, and why just the Brits?

Luck and Health to all!!!

Hi Zurf, you are a very lucky man to have a wife to buy you a SLR camera.

Sorry I cant help with the case, but I'm sure someone on Chordie will; but I do envy you;;;;

you lucky Son of a Gun.  Enjoy the trip, bring back lots of photos.

Hi upyerkilt, I took badeye's advice and tried some of the other sites on the net there are

dozens and dozens of sites, I just typed in Beatles Songs with chords on the net and got

plenty; here's one;

www.rockmagic.net/guitar.tabs/beatles/

But you should have no trouble finding sites, which makes MusicSalesUK pointless, but why

pick Chordie.  Thanks badeye!

Thanks upyerkilt, as I said it's just greed.  The best or worst part however you look at it; is

that I have a large Beatles Song Book sitting right beside, and as you pointed out many of the

chords are wrong, they are not in the original Key; and they have chords like dim7ths Xadd9,

chords that were never in the original song.  The one song I was hoping to get was their

Version of Norweegin Wood, I was studying it for a Scout singalong this weekend.

If you read the quote by Lennon; "I think he was proved right!"

Badeye; thanks I'll try some of the other sites on the net.

Why after all this time has MusicScales UK decided to block all Beatles songs to the British,

the songs have been on the web for years.

What is to stop me from getting an American friend and have him send me the songs.

It proves on thing I've always thought, British Companys are compleat tossers.

I just want to let [Per] and all those who run Chordie know that I don't blame them in anyway.

But the fact that The Beatles were a British Group, it makes me sick that they, IE; MusicSales

UK, have done this, and if I can't get them on the net, then; MusicSales UK, will not get a

penny of me to buy the Beatles Records.  I'm a big fan of the Beatles, but haven't they made

enough money out of the group; it's just greed!

( It's like John Lennon said, Music belongs to everybody, only the Music companys think they

own it!)

From a verry angry and frustrated; Headcase!

But not at Chordie.

I have a question which perhaps one of you could answer?

I was allways taught that there was no such note as E# Fb or B# Cb; however I was recently

at a Q&A night about Guitars, I asked the queiston that when you play the F# Major Scale to

keep the TTSTTTS or Do Re Me Fa So La Te Do going the Note E# in that scale is played as

F Natural then the Semietone is F#.

Someone then said that E# was the Enharmonic to F, but on the guitar Enharmonics like D# &

Eb A# & Bb as well as all the others are on the same fret and are the same pitch and it just

depends on wether the pice of Music you are playing is in a # or b Key.

Now in a sharp Key that has an A# it is noted the same as A, in a Flat Key the Bb is wrriten

the same as a B as in the Key of F. this I understand but how if there is no such note as E#

or B# how can they be Enharmonic notes; or am I missing something?

The guy who was taking this session is an Instructor and he agreed with the person who made

the statment, the Q&A session was to recrute new students?

Any help would be welcome.

Hi, I'm 63 and from Northern Ireland, (Belfast) I can read Music and have a good grasp of

Music Theory, although I learned on another Instrument, started playing the Guitar about

Two years ago'ish, not easy to transfere from one Instrument to another, but it is coming

along.

And I enjoy it very much and now have the time to get lots of practace in. This is a great site

everyone is always trying to help if they can, I have learned a lot here. As for the fingers,

it's just a matter of time, even people playing for years get sore fingers if they play too long.

And it's never too late to learn anything new?

Oh, and by the way, Welcome To Chordie.
