Your help on putting in images uses an image ON YOUR SERVER. Can I upload an image to chordie to show you printing errors?

No, it's NOT my printer because I've done every test, reinstalled all printer drivers, no change. EVERY OTHER PAGE I TRY TO PRINT WORKS JUST FINE.

I used to be able to print from Chordie with THIS printer and laptop. Now it comes out pale gray, way too many pages, with each line separated by huge gaps. It's really a mess now.

Windows 10 fully updated Dell laptop. Epson xp-320 printer that seems to work with any other printing request I make, including other websites.

Icould upload an img of printouts, if you want to see - AND IF I COULD FIGURE OUT YOUR MEANS TO DO IT.

I am finding things on the chordie site - it's been a while since I was here. I am also new to Win10. So far, not thumbs up on either.

Trying to adjust the print layout of songs sucks unless I am REALLY missing something. Maybe it's the CSS used for the print function? If I try editing my copy of a song, as in line breaks so that the lines don't wrap weirdly at larger print sizes, I get YUGE gaps as if the CSS was telling it to justify every line.

SUCKS. So I have to go back to copy/paste?

Looking for musicians in S. Trinity county (CA) into folk, bluegrass... I like everything from Neil Young to Steve Earle to Rita Hosking to Chris Smither...

Female, 50s, vocalist, guitarist (finger picking style) just getting a new mandolin, so interested in playing with anyone who can teach/play that.

Thanks

House of the Rising Sun (Animals) followed by every Beatles tune I could pick out. Then Dylan. Then Neil Young & Crazy Horse...

Anyone here play songs written by Rita Hosking? I love her music and have figured out the basic chords to Montgomery Creek Blues, but cannot find a source for her songs in general. If you haven't listened to her, check her out: ritahosking.com

I have a Fender mando on the way and can't wait! I've played one that belongs to a friend who comes up for a summer festival with his band... it seems really easy to find a lead melody on it out of the D and G chords. I'm a self-taught guitarist (some 45ish yrs or so) and eager to play my new mando. That said, I cannot play both at the same time, LOL! So... I have to find someone else to play guitar while I play mandolin!

My guitar tuner (clip on vibration type) has a method for switching to mando tuning (also violin, etc). I've just purchased a Fender mando but not yet received it... so I haven't tried tuning one yet. I bet new strings (Martin, light gauge?) would help. I know I use extra lights on my Martin D-1 and it's a huge improvement over low-end strings.

That is SO cool! I'm a long-time guitarist and (in various other incarnations) user of Chordie and never noticed this. Can't wait until I get my new Fender mandolin (soon)!
