Topic: valentine poem

my wife and i have been together for nearly 30 years, i write a little verse every year, this is this years... use it if you like it

I have tried a hundred different ways
To say I love you; come what may
I cannot leave you, now I know
I know for sure I could not go

And if I went, I’d soon return
For by your side; I have learnt
Is the very place where I belong
My destination is where I was from

I may have tried a hundred ways
I may have looked a foolish waste
One thing I will surely do;
Is find my way back home to you

And just in-case you missed the message

I love you....true

A beautiful poem Phill. I am sure that your better half was over the moon with it.

Thank you,
