Topic: Mammys song: For you anyday

I wrote this song for my mum for mothers day but didn't complete it in time. I'm 18 now and moving out soon to go to college and this is about that. I'm not sure when to give it to her now. Let me know what you think....:) CAPO on 3rd

I like how you talk about the sacrfices she made, that really means alot to a mom, just having some understanding. Make her proud when you go to school. It'll make all thoses sacrfices well worth it.Great song

I'm real glad to hear you played this moving song for your Mom. Check out Russ's tutorials in the recording section. Audacity is a free program and if I can figure it out (with Russ's help) then I'm sure you will be able to also.

thanks i'm working on a few other songs at the moment but my end of year exams are coming up so probably won't finish them til the summer hmm

I actually have posted the lyrics with the chords in this section, I just haven't recorded any yet, as I am still learning the recording process. I'm slow bout doing things sometimes! Or as some would say I procrastinate!!

It's certainly nice to have someone come back with a recording. Well done
Videoing and recording a song is a doubly difficult thing to do so good on you for giving it go..
I liked melody and the singing as much as I could hear as the recording was a bit juddery in sound and vision..
I hope your able to continue your music in the future as I can see you have great potenial.
