Re: chords i know!

Since Christmas? That's great. I am guesing that the chords you learned are D C G A E Am Em and F? You can add variations of D and A such as the Dm, Dsus2 and Dsus4, A7 and Asus2. Hope you are having fun!

Re: chords i know!

Hi keano,

With eight chords you will be able to play a great number of songs and if you have managed that since Christmas you have done extremely well. I suggest that you find some songs that you really like and play them until you can change your chords quickly and easily. Start slowly and build up speed as you improve.

i had the same problem at first with switching chords i found it easier to find chords that have some of the same fingerings and practice them then once that can be done try some harder ones eventually ull build up speed and strength in your fingers. i have only been playing since november and have learnt the majority of the major chords, minor chords and sevenths but i will admit i do sometimes still struggle with B lol
