Sorry Russ! Couldn't resist posting that photie - and believe me I tried; I lasted two and a half whole days!.
I don't have many photos of meself, bit camera shy. The best photo I had of me was from when I was in my 20s and playing at Cheddar Folk Festival - but it got stolen (may the fleas of a thousand camels infest the thief's armpits!)
Here's one that a fellow Chordian took at Glastonbury this year.

ok... well I'm the one with the camera in hand regularly (newbie to chordie) but here's a b&w pic of me and my littlest one... I'll see if someone can make a point to take a pic of me W/ guitar for my next online debut. Hopefully this facebook photo will come thru and not be a "protected" pic.
sorry it's so fuzzy... my 4 yr old took this one! LOL!

I'm not normally involved in the recording forum, but here's a shot..

If that doesn't work, try here: http://picasaweb.google.com/HalfFastPad … 6262822690
It's a self-portrait in front of just about the prettiest little trout river on God's green earth. Out in Colorado somewhere.
Actually with a guitar in hand: http://picasaweb.google.com/HalfFastPad … 0558956322
I guess I haven't got the right kind of picture hosting web site and links will have to do the job.

Handsome face? I think you've got me confused with another Zurf there, Russell.
I don't know if it's used elsewhere, but here in Virginia the state police are running and ad campaign on drunk driving (they're against it, just to be clear). Anyway, they've been having pictures of folks in their cars filled up with booze, the cops stop them, they "perps" roll down their window and all the beer or wine or whatever pours out. Then there's a voice over, "You can't hide it. If you drink and drive, we will find you and you'll go to jail where you'll meet Bubba and his kin." Or some such. Anyway, they've got one with a guy on a motorcycle wearing a full face helmet with beer filling it about half way. At the end of the ad, they show the guy getting his picture taken "downtown" with the voice over and threats of meeting ill-tempered and amorous hillbillies. The guy getting his picture took. I'd swear it's RUSSELL!! The funniest part (to me, because I like irony) is that Russell isn't even a drinking man! Whether or not he rides a motorcycle, I don't know.

p.s. I made up the part about Bubba and the amorous hillbillies. But now that I think about it, Bubba and the Amorous Hillbillies would be a great name for a band.

Zurf - Thanks for the sentiments, I've posted the story before and thought most folks knew the story. Chris fought childhood cancer for over 7 years after the original diagnosis / prognosis (at age 10) gave us less than a single year's expectation. He was a joy and although he had a hell of a fight, he appreciated every day and taught a lot of people (myself included) how important every day is. It's been 5 years now since he left us, but I still think of him and remember this lesson every day. I wish I had a shot of Chris behind his drum set - I know he's keeping the beat every time I pick up my guitar.
Please don't let this take away from this thread. I choose to dwell on the time he was here and the positive lessons he brought to many. More pictures of members please!

Selso - Was that gal in the pictures with you your "hippie chick?" I still play that song from time to time. It's one of my favorites.
Also, I'm totally jealous of that big dreadnaught. Just so you know.

My youngest daughter and nephew helping out their Uncle Mike (my brother-in-law) and I on some Christmas carols...
I'll bet it doesn't work, though... Never has before. Mekidsmom is just magic. But we knew that already because she's a mom.
Edited because I finally figured out why Russell said what he did. I cut and paste from the photo site, so I can't figure out why a Chordie address was in the URL.

That was my lovely hippie chick. She still rocks the Grateful Dead and smells like patchouli but she shaves her armpits now so we're making progress! That Epi was a birthday present from her. She knows my taste in guitars.
