Topic: Slacker Paint Job

Bought a $50 Dean Vendetta guitar and am thinking about painting the body of it.

The body has a wood grain finish and I'd like to paint it white.  Any recommendations on type of paint? Also, is is possible to paint most of the body
w/o removing the strings?  Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Saw the reranch name when I was looking for more info.  May have to look into a wood dye vs. paint.
