La vie en rose - Foxtails Brigade cover

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReGO4WOnIww

Hey everyone. I really tried to figure out these chords she's using just by looking, but I couldn't pull it off other than there's some F-chord shapes in there. Couldn't figure it out by ear b/c I'm not that good, but I'd really love to know the chords she's using here.

Re: La vie en rose - Foxtails Brigade cover

hi themgilroy,

no sorry there is no F in the song. it's very complicated in that it uses a lot of major 7ths. this is the best i could make of it...

opening part.. A- Bm- E7- A-E-E7

main verse... A- Amaj7- A7- E- E7- Bm- Bm (major7)- Bm7- E7. A- Amaj7- A7- D- Dmaj7- B diminished - A- Amaj7- Bm7- Bm6- E9- E7.

end part.. A- Amaj7- A7- E9- E7- A.

the Bm (major7) isnt as complicated as it may sound. she plays it by fingering (lowest to highest).. B-F#-Bb-A-F#-B

someone will probably come along and say that i'm completely wrong...

still it's beautifully sung and performed. she gets a lovely sound where ever she is..
